Bill C-384 which promotes assisted suicide and euthanasia

Dear _______ [your member of parliament]
I have learned that MP Francine Lalonde (BQ) has introduced Bill C-384 — a private member's bill in parliament to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide.
As a constituent, I oppose euthanasia and assisted suicide because it directly threatens the lives of people with disabilities and other vulnerable people in our society.
I believe that we need to promote measures that increase the quality of life for people who experience difficult life conditions and not introduce measures that threaten their very existence.
I respectfully request that you oppose this bill.
Yours Sincerely

Dear _______ [your member of parliament]
MP Francine Lalonde (BQ) has introduced Bill C-384 — aiming to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide.
I oppose any change in the law concerning euthanasia and assisted suicide because the law must not allow a person to be allowed to directly cause the death of another person.
At a time when many Canadians do not have access to caring and supportive end of life care, we need to promote compassionate end-of-life care and ethical palliative care instead of sanctioning euthanasia or assisted suicide.
As a constituent, please oppose this attempt to change the law prohibiting euthanasia and assisted suicide in Canada.
Yours Sincerely,

Dear _______ [your member of parliament]
I have recently heard that the MP Francine Lalonde (BQ) has introduced Bill C-384, which is a private members bill to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide.
Bill C-384 allows euthanasia and assisted suicide for mental pain.
I have personal experience with people who suffer from depression-related conditions. If euthanasia or assisted suicide were legalized in Canada, I know that the lives of people who suffer from depression will be threatened.
Depression is often undiagnosed or poorly-treated. Combined with other life-threatening or chronic conditions, the cry for help is often made by way of a request to die.
The 2007 report from the State of Oregon, where assisted suicide is legal, indicated that none of the 49 people who died by legal assisted suicide was referred for a psychological or psychiatric assessment.
As a constituent, I need your assurance that you will oppose any change in the current laws prohibiting euthanasia and assisted suicide in Canada.
Yours Sincerely
