The Catholic Women's League of Canada calls its members to grow in faith,
and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service.”
We are a national group of Catholic women with almost 90,000 members across Canada.
At St. Paul’s we have always developed friendships with fellow parishioners, supported our Priests
through prayer, reflection and retreats, enjoyed guest speakers and
hosted funeral receptions as requested, to name a few.
We look forward to continuing towards the full return to these activities
as it is evident that many members miss the social aspect and the teamwork these activities fostered.
The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) is open to all women of the parish 16 years of age+.
All members, with email, receive a weekly update, current happenings with CWL
as well as other parish news and prayers.
This newsletter has kept our members in touch with each other
and enabled a continued connection to the parish.

Taste of Christmas with a Jingle Bell Raffle – November 11th & 12th
Hours this year are:
Saturday 10am to 3pm and following 5pm Mass
Sunday following both 9am & 11am masses.

This is a parish community event, with our goal to raise funds to assist local charities.
Please note this is a CASH ONLY event.
We are looking for volunteers in all areas to make our event a success.
We are also looking for prize donations of new items for our raffle and sealed bid auction.

BAKING NEEDS!
​
Can you please help? We are looking for as many homemade baked goods as possible for our event,
so if you enjoy baking we will gratefully appreciate as many donations as you are able to bake!
Baking drop off: Thursday, November 9th from 6 to 9pm and Friday, November 10th from 9am to 8pm.

General Meetings
Please note there is no general meeting in November due to our major fundraising event.
Our December meeting will be held on December 11th. More details to follow.

Membership Dues:
Member ship dues were due in November but we are still accepting late payments.
Please note that membership dues have recently increased for 2023.
Annual dues have now changed to $40.00 per year.
The increase is due to a change in fees at the National level, based on a motion voted on by all Councils.
