and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service.”

 

Founded in 1917, the CWL is Canada's largest women's organization with over 60,000 members

nationwide. Built on the pillars of Faith, Service and Social Justice, the CWL is a powerful voice

to Parliament and a vibrant presence in communities across the country.

At St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Burlington, our CWL Council fosters friendship, prayer, and 

service. We support our clergy, collaborate with the Knights of Columbus, and host events and 

guest speakers on topics of interest to members and the parish community. Our charitable outreach

extends locally and abroad. 

​

MEMBERSHIP:

​

~ Open to all women of the parish aged 16 and over.

~ Catholic faith is not required - just a belief in the mission and minstry of the CWL. 

~ Time committment is flexible - give what you can, when you can.

~ Members include women from all walks of life - working, retired, single, married and widowed.

​

Your membership supports our ministry. Your prayers are invaluable. Your presence is a gift. 

New members are always welcome! Come to a meeting, connect with us and discover the joy of being 

part of a meaningful ministry. 

 

                                       MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

~ Regular email updates on CWL news and activities at the Parish, Diocesan, Provincial and Nataional 

    levels.

~ Quarterly newsletter, The Canadian League. 

~ Opportunities to stay connected and involved in parish life.

MEMBERSHIP DUES:

​

~ $40.00 annually.

~ Dues support the CWL's national misison, charitable work and parish council operations. 

~ Payable by e-transfer (to stpaulCWL@gmail.com) or via cash or cheque (made payable to

   Catholic Women's League).

​

GENERAL MEETINGS:

​

~ Held monthly on the 2nd Monday evening @ 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. 

~ There is no November meeting due to our largest fundraiser, The Annual Taste of Christmas Bazaar.
