St. Paul's Catholic Women's League
NATIONAL CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE
The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) is open to all women of the parish 16 years of age and older. We will meet on the second Tuesday of each month. We invite all Ladies of the Parish to attend the Tuesday 7pm mass and after our General Meeting at 7:30pm in the Hearth Room (unless noted otherwise) and new members are always welcome.
We are a national group of Catholic women with almost 100,000 members across Canada whose mission is rooted in Gospel values calling our members to holiness through service to the people of God. Within St. Paul’s parish, we develop and share our relationship with God through prayer, reflection and retreats. We develop friendships with fellow parishioners, we enjoy guest speakers on a variety of topics, we support our priests, host Confirmation receptions for our feeder schools and provide funeral receptions as requested. Through our fundraising efforts such as our annual Christmas bazaar, we donate funds to several charities both locally and internationally.
We are all about faith, fun and friendship!
Please consider joining us. Time commitment is as little or great as you can offer. Feel welcome to attend any of our meetings or events to learn more about the CWL or visit the national website at www.cwl.ca.
Membership enquiries can be directed to our membership convenor, Annette Osbaldeston, at 905 336 5642 or email@example.com.
Ladies - It is membership renewal time! Please take a moment to renew your CWL membership for 2019. We also invite all Ladies of our Parish to join us as new members to help in serving our Parish community. Our annual dues are now $25. If you are an envelope holder, the blue CWL envelope is in with the November envelopes and can be put in the collection basket at Mass or dropped off at the office. Please make sure your name and email are on the envelope along with your payment. There are extra blue CWL membership envelopes available on the front table in the Narthex and at the bulletin board. For more information please contact Annette Osbaldeston at 905-336-5642 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
