Sacrament of Reconciliation

“ Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” And when he said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any they are retained.”

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of the most unique and beautiful aspects of our faith. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, instituted this sacrament, so that we, as sinners, can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God and the Church. The sacrament “washes us clean,” and renews us in Christ. Also known as the Sacrament of Penance, it has three elements: conversion, confession and celebration. In it, we find God’s unconditional love and forgiveness, and as a result we are called to forgive others.

The following are the schedules of Confessions at St. Paul’s:

Regular WEEKLY Confessions Schedule:

First Fridays 9:30 -12:00 pm

Saturdays 3:30 - 5:00 pm

or by appointment (call the office for details)

Lenten Penance Schedule

A Penance Celebration with Confessions will take place Thursday March 19th at 7:00 pm.

Multiple priests will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Please note that an additional confession date of Tuesday March 24th at 7:30 until 8:30 pm has been added to the schedule and is the FINAL opportunity to go to confession prior to Easter.
